A text chain went out after the death of a friend’s parent. Each of us contributed and the instigator spent $700 on flowers. The average cost of a funeral is close to $10K. We just kept saying there has to be a better way. Watching the trends in wedding registries shifting, our team took the cue and built out a site that provides the much needed resources to plan with the ultimate goal of reducing frustration, stress and costs. We to hundreds of people who shared in our vision and MyCondolences was born. The end-of-life journey is a milestone we will all have to tackle but no one should have to do it alone.
